Mediation

Our experience

XXIV Old Buildings has built up considerable experience in the mediation arena with members regularly taking part in mediations and acting as mediators.

We have a particular expertise in trust mediations which are unusually complex and often involve a large number of parties.

Individual members’ experience is shown on their profiles.  Alternatively please speak to  Paul Matthews, the practice manager in charge of mediation work, or any of the practice management team who will be happy to discuss our ability to meet your particular requirements.

Organising a mediation

If you would like to use a member of XXIV Old Buildings as a mediator, please contact Paul Matthews or any of the practice management team.

They will discuss your requirements with you.  You will need to provide us with details of the dispute so that we can suggest an appropriate mediator available within your time-frame.

At this point, we will also discuss the question of fees.

Further information is available on our FAQ on mediation sheet.  This sheet also explains the mechanics of a normal mediation.

In addition, we are happy to arrange for you to have a preliminary discussion with one of our mediators at no charge.

All our mediations are conducted on the attached Mediation agreement.
